John has lived in the rural beauty of Southern Ontario for almost his whole life and grew up on a Mennonite Family Farm. He and his wife Miriam and owned and operated their own farm for 8 years. They are currently partners in 2 Home Hardware Stores. John enjoyed biking as a teen and in the past few years has become an avid cyclist on both on the paved roads and the gravel trails of Southern Ontario and Florida. He loves spending time with people especially when we can discuss our local area, the G2G trail and cycling. He rides with 3 local cycling groups and anyone else that wants to join him on a ride. He has a good knowledge of the local Mennonite and Amish culture, the G2G Trail and Agriculture. John and Miriam also run an Airbnb where they enjoy hosting guests that enjoy experiencing the G2G trail.
